Ruby on Rails Web Developer

KAD information Systems is building a software development team and is looking for talented Ruby on Rails developers to join us.

We have multiple web applications in documents management, workflow and customer relations. You will work on these projects and develop new features, do code refactoring and manage deployments. Candidates have to be independent thinkers who have the ability to design, develop and deploy applications with minimal guidance. We are building a small yet high performance agile team and we are looking for people that thrive in entrepreneurial environments.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Ruby on Rails
• Experience with HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, JSON
• Strong attention to detail and high quality code
• Proactive communicator who can collaborate with other team-members to ensure successful completion of shared tasks
• The desire and ability to learn new skills quickly
• Self-starter who can work independently without a lot of supervision
• Experience using Git for version control
• Solid understanding of web security and building secure web apps
• Knowledge designing scalable architectures.
• Familiarity with SCRUM methodology
